BK Marcus is an amateur political economist with no formal education in the subject.
He works from Charlottesville, Virginia, as an editorial consultant for the Ludwig von Mises Institute.
He is no longer a house husband, nor a faculty spouse, but he is still a dilettante, and a layabout, at least in spirit.

I like to say, when asked about my "politics", such as they are, that I'd like The New York Times more if it weren't so right-wing; and that the Fox News Channel is far too left-wing for my taste. With those who get what I'm after without having their heads explode, I feel as though I share a secret handshake...
