photoshop break

While I was offline, Mises.org published an article on economic growth (and why the econometric concept is so problematic). I’ve been playing with Adobe Photoshop over the summer, and when I was asked (by mistake) to put this article into the system, I thought I’d try to come up with an image for “economic growth”. I was pleased with it, but thought of it as a place holder or perhaps a suggestion. To my surprise and pleasure, they used it! So I count this as my first published image.

By the by, for those of you out there who work with words all day (writers, editors, even programmers), I find that working with images is a great way to give the left hemisphere a rest while the right hemisphere has a chance to play. The occasional photoshop break means that reading and editing don’t tire me out as quickly.
